Snapdragon has recently launched their new flagship processor, Snapdragon 855 SoC. It was expected that OnePlus will launch first mobile with the chipset, but Lenovo has launched their Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with the chipset.
Another major highlight is of course that it offers up to 12GB of RAM another first in the market. It was unveiled alongside the Lenovo Z5s on Tuesday. To recall, the new Snapdragon 855 SoC was launched earlier this month with a Snapdragon X50 modem to enable 5G connectivity. Alongside the new 7nm Qualcomm chip, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has up to 12GB of RAM option.

Micromax on Tuesday launched two new smartphones, Infinity N11, and Infinity N12, in India. The Micromax Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 also have 18.9:9 aspect ratio and pack massive, 4,000mAh battery. Other key highlights of the two new Micromax smartphones are a list of artificial intelligence (AI) powered enhancements, MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, and Face Unlock support.
OnePlus has recently launched the McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T and company is working on the two upcoming devices. One is OnePlus 7 and another is OnePlus 5G Phone. Now in the recent leak, it seems that OnePlus upcoming smartphone leaked with an image circulating online.
As reported last week, Xiaomi is all set to launch the Xiaomi Play smartphones. The smartphone is expected to be the rebranded of upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro, Mi Play is set to debut in China on December 24 when the company will hold an event for its launch in the Chinese market. It is not clear if the device will make its way to the markets outside China as of now. However, it is likely that the Xiaomi Play could be debuted in other markets including India as the company’s top-end gaming phone Black Shark is exclusive to China only. It is also going to be the first phone under Xiaomi’s new Play series. Ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi has already revealed some of the important features of the phone.
