Google Gboard’s floating keyboard feature, that first surfaced in September, is apparently live for more users. Version 7.6 (beta) of the Gboard app reportedly brings the feature to more users which seemingly suggests a broader stable roll-out might just be around the corner. The feature, as the name suggests would let users manually move Google’s custom keyboard around, something that would particularly be useful in larger phones.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 Smartphone has been finally launched at its Beijing event on Thursday. The biggest change that Xiaomi brought in this device compared to its predecessor, device comes with a magnetic sliding front camera, a dual vertical camera setup, two cameras at the front, and a true bezel-less display. The Mi Mix 3 smartphone sports no display notch, and negligible chin at the bottom either.
The device features Snapdragon 845, coupled with 6GB, 8GB or 10GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. There’s no card slot for memory expansion though, nor a 3.5 mm audio jack. You do get fast wired charging through the USB-C port as well as decent 10W wireless charging.
One of the biggest pain points of the Android is about getting the latest update, unlike Apple where US company make the hardware as well as the software, rolling out the updates is quite frequent, Android has a different ecosystem, where hardware is made by third party and software given by Google. The delay or ignorance in rolling out Android updates has often made the platform more prone to security threats.
