Nightscape on OnePlus 6

The best part what I love about the OnePlus phones are they are always up-to-date from a software perspective. The company has launched the OnePlus 6T early this week, Phone which has got great features and the in-display fingerprint is one of the latest from the device. On the camera front company has launched Nightscape in OnePlus 6T. While launching the new device company said it is going to bring Nightscape on OnePlus 6 very soon.

Keeping the promise in no time, the update is here. OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 9.0.2 update packed with several improvements, added features, general bug fixes and OnePlus 6T’s camera features to all OnePlus 6 users. The OxygenOS 9.0.2 update comes along with November Android security patch as well.

At the launch of the OnePlus 6T, OnePlus talked about several users complaining about the OnePlus 6’s low-light camera capabilities. The company said that OnePlus 6T captures much better pictures in low-light with the Nightscape mode. The same camera feature is now coming to OnePlus 6. So, if you’re a OnePlus 6 user, you should start getting update beginning today. OnePlus, however, has announced that the rollout will happen in a phased manner.

“This OTA will have a staged rollout. The OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. Using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices,” the company noted. In addition to the OnePlus 6T camera features, the OxygenOS 9.0.2 update is also bringing new navigation gestures, improved UI for About phone section, November Android security patch, and general bug fixes and improvements. The OxygenOS 9.0.2 update will also optimize the standby power consumption and add support to launch Google Assistant or other third party assistant app by holding the power button for 0.5 seconds.
