Nokia has started gaining the market share in the Indian market which has been proved by the success of Nokia 6.1 Plus. As per the reports Nokia 6.1 Plus went on sale today and the device went out of stock within two minutes of being available. Now the company is gearing up for the launch of Nokia 7.1 Plus or Nokia X7.
As per the reports, HMD Global will be hosting an informal sort of launch event in central London with a 5 pm local time (9:30 pm IST) presentation on October 4; the venue is yet to be announced, according to a report by Pocket Lint.
Earlier this week, alleged press renders of the Nokia 7.1 Plus were leaked by Indian blog MySmartPrice that showed off a display notch in the front, apart from vertical dual cameras at the back.
As per the leaked image, the Nokia 7.1 Plus could offer a design almost similar to the Nokia 6.1 Plus. However, the 7.1 Plus is expected to feature a slightly thicker bottom bezel and Carl ZEISS camera technology.
The photo suggests that the phone will offer a notch above the screen, which will house the front camera, the earpiece, and other sensors. The handset could offer a dual primary camera setup and a fingerprint sensor at the rear. The smartphone’s power and volume rocker are expected to be placed on the right side. The photo also indicates that the Nokia 7.1 Plus will be an Android One offering.
According to earlier reports, the Nokia 7.1 Plus will be a mid-range offering. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. The phone could offer a 5.99-inch FHD+ display and boot Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The device is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Sadly, there’s no word regarding the handset’s other specifications at the moment.
