Smartphones are changing from the design to technology and Notch is the biggest trend out of those. Other than notch some of the smartphone vendors jumped into gaming segments as well and earlier this year Nubia enter the segment with Nubia Red Magic and as per reports Nubia Red Magic 2 is in make.
If you judge the Nubia Red Magic, the smartphone has a nice design and packs impressive specs save for having last year’s Snapdragon 835 processor instead of the new Snapdragon 845. The older processor means it can’t match the performance of other gaming smartphones such as Xiaomi‘s Black Shark and ASUS‘ ROG gaming phone.
If you where planning to buy the smartphone and Snapdragon 835 has pulled you back from your decision then you have reason to cheer. As per Roland Quandt, Nubia Magic 2 is in work which will be the successor of Nubia Magic.
In a tweet earlier today, he revealed that a new Red Magic device with a Snapdragon 845 is in the works. However, a new processor isn’t the only new thing. It will also have shoulder buttons.
If we talk about the launch date of the device, we don’t have any dates as of now but Nubia will make sure to launch the device this year as launching the device with Snapdragon 845 next year will be the same mistake what they have done this year.
Nubia Red Magic is priced around $522 and we can expect the Nubia Red Magic 2 should have the similar pricing.
The Red Magic has a 6.0-inch 1080 x 2160 screen. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The back is made of aluminum and has an RGB LED strip. There is a single 24MP sensor on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera above the display. It has a smart amplifier and DTS audio. There is a 3,800mAh battery under the hood with support for fast charge. It also has a new air convection cooling system to keep the device cool.
