It has been almost around 4 months when OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 6 and now it time cheer for OnePlus 6T. All though as per reports surfaced earlier, the company was not sure about launching the OnePlus 6T.
However, according to a recent report, the device was spotted on Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), a Russian regulatory authority for certification. Certification is an essential step that usually comes weeks before the launch of any smartphone in that particular market.
According to a report by PhoneCorridor, the listing revealed that OnePlus 6T was carrying the model number as A6013 which is in line with AXXXX series model series for its smartphones. The listing did not reveal any new information of the device but this is the second time that we are hearing about the OnePlus 6T.
For the past couple of years, OnePlus has been following up its flagship device with a special ‘T’ edition, essentially an upgraded version of the phone. One can, therefore, expect some definite design upgrades and a step up in performance from the already super-fast OnePlus 6.
Considering the design Oppo and Vivo are following in their flagship phones, we can expect a water drop notch design on OnePlus 6T. Considering the fact that OnePlus 6 already giving the best, OnePlus 6T will have limited upgrades.
We can also say that OnePlus 6T might only be some of the hardware upgrade similar to OnePlus 3T. Where OnePlus has maintained the same design with upgraded hardware.
Sadly, the under-display fingerprint reader seems too far-fetched, as OnePlus usually waits for some technologies to get cheaper and more reliable in order to keep the costs low. Basically, Oppo’s R-series are the guinea pigs and OnePlus’ phone reap the benefits in the end.
OnePlus has not issued any official statement or revealed any information including specifications, launch or even availability date about its upcoming OnePlus 6T. However, it is likely that the device may come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.
