OnePlus 6T

The launch of OnePlus 6T is not a secret anymore. The device is going to be first launch in India on 30th October followed by China launch. Now the question is the availability of the device for the purchase. With an Amazon pre-order deal coming out which confirmed it would be available for purchase from Amazon India November 2nd, it only stands to reason that an international release is in the cards sometime around then as well.

OnePlus has confirmed to The Verge that the OnePlus 6T will go on sale internationally from November 6th, while also confirming to AndroidCentral that it will feature a 3,700mAh battery.

OnePlus including a larger battery won’t really come as a surprise to many who have been keeping up to date with the company’s latest flagship. When they announced that the headphone jack was removed, Carl Pei cited that part of the reason for its removal was its allowance for a “substantial” increase in battery life.

A 3,700mAh battery marks a 10% increase over the OnePlus 6 released earlier this year. That’s a pretty big battery by all accounts, and with the efficiency of the included Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip, users should expect nothing short of exceptional battery life from the OnePlus 6T.

As per the confirmation from the company smartphone will not feature the headphone jack and will have the in-display fingerprint sensor, to be known as “Screen Lock.” Other than that Phone is expected to feature a dual camera on rear just like OnePlus 6, though the lens configurations are unknown. The front camera will continue to support Face Unlock, and its sensor size also remains speculative and should feature water drop notch.

The display is expected to offer Corning Gorilla Glass protection, as it houses the in-display fingerprint scanner, that enables the ‘Screen Unlock’ feature. OnePlus 6T will be based on Android 9 Pie and will run the Snapdragon 845 processor.
