OnePlus 7 design

There is no official word about the OnePlus 7 Launch yet from the company, but as usual we have started getting the leaks about the next flagship from the OnePlus. As per the leak the device is expected to get the huge design upgrade. OnePlus 6T was a big design upgrade over the predecessor OnePlus 6 and other older OnePlus phones. The upgrade spanned from new notch design to unique in-screen fingerprint scanner. With its next generation OnePlus 7 design the company is set to make radical changes in the design department.

According to a new leak, the upcoming smartphone from OnePlus will reportedly witness a huge design upgrade while the positioning of the front camera might also be changed.

According to SlashLeaks, the OnePlus 7 design prototype image has been leaked in which the smartphone could be seen alongside the OnePlus 6T. The image clearly focuses the top half of both the device where the alleged OnePlus 7 could be seen with an all-screen display at the front instead of the Waterdrop notch design we saw on the OnePlus 6T.

As per the leaked image of OnePlus 7 design leaked in image it seems that the front camera of the OnePlus 7 will also be removed from the front panel in order to offer the all-screen front with minimum bezels and top chin. This also means that the front camera could be offered in two different ways (As per our current design knowledge of smartphone), by Pop-up slider camera design or by sliding camera module.

In the pop-up slider camera design which we saw in the Vivo Nex and Honor Magic 2. While there could also be a sliding camera module like the Mi Mix 3, the front camera can also be shifted to the bottom chin but this is highly unlikely as it is an almost 2-year-old design.

As far we know from the company confirmation and different reports, OnePlus 7 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Android 9.0 Pie, a triple camera-setup on the back along with some other major upgrades. The OnePlus 7 launch is expected by May or June this year while the smartphone can also be announced during the MWC 2019 which will be organised in Barcelona, Spain.
