Last week company has rolled out OxygenOS 5.1.11 for the users and that brings some stability as well as the improvement on HDR Mode. OxygenOS Android Pie is expected to bring whole sets of new features for OnePlus 6 users.
Similarly, last week OnePlus rolled out the first HydrogenOS Android Pie based beta update for the OnePlus 6 in China. The manufacturer typically rolls out the equivalent OxygenOS beta update in other regions around w week after the HydrogenOS beta rollout in China, so it is highly likely that the first OxygenOS Android Pie beta update will begin rolling out for the OnePlus 6 globally starting this week.
As committed by OnePlus after the OnePlus 6, Android Pie beta builds will be available for the OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 3T, and the OnePlus 3.
OnePlus 6 is featured with 6.28-inches diagonally with 1080 x 2280 Full HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 color space coverage, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coverage on top. The device is powered with Snapdragon 845 chipset.
OnePlus 6 comes in 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and unlike other offerings from the company this also has no place for SD-Card.
On camera front OnePlus 6 features a 16MP + 20MP dual-camera setup at the rear with a Sony IMX519 primary sensor with 1.22um pixel size and a Sony IMX376K secondary sensor with 1.0um pixel size. Both the sensors on the back of the handset have been coupled with a large f/1.7 aperture. The camera is capable of recording the 4K UHD videos.
