Samsung is all set to launch the M-series of smartphones which will directly give competition to Chinese companies like Xiaomi, Honor, Realme and others in the affordable smartphone market segment. Now as per the recent reports Samsung is all set to kill these companies in Indian market with the prices of these devices. Samsung launch their latest Galaxy M-series smartphones this month. There has been a lot of speculations and rumours surrounding these devices already. New reports revel the prices of Samsung M-series as well.
Within those leaks and rumours, there are quite a number of leaks which have revealed the specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 smartphones in the Indian market. The Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 have been primarily targeted at the millennials market and are an answer to the Chinese smartphone brands like Xiaomi, Honor, Oppo, Vivo, Realme and other players. Samsung will launch two industry-first Galaxy M smartphones in India on January 28, with one in the sub-Rs. 10,000 segment, and another in the sub Rs. 15,000 segment.
The new Galaxy M line is expected to replace the previous Galaxy J, Galaxy C, and Galaxy On families in a bid to simplify the company’s smartphone roster. As far as the prices of Samsung M-series is concerned, it is going to give run for money to their Chinese counterparts.
The Samsung Galaxy M10 will start at Rs. 7,990, and the Samsung Galaxy M20 from Rs 10,990, reliable industry sources told IANS on Friday. India will be the first country to launch the new series smartphones. The ‘Galaxy M’ series will also be available on Samsung’s online store.
The first-ever ‘M’ series smartphones with features like Infinity V display and massive battery power are being manufactured for the millennials at Samsung’s facility in Noida – the world’s largest mobile phone factory.
The Galaxy M10 will sport a 6.2-inch HD+ display with Infinity-V notch, a 13 MP + 5 MP dual rear camera system, a 5 MP selfie snapper, the Exynos 7872 SoC with hexa-core CPU, 2/3 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of storage, and a 3,400 mAh battery. It will run Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Galaxy M20 will boast a 6.3-inch FHD+ touchscreen (also with an Infinity-V notch), the Exynos 7885 chipset at the helm, 3GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of storage, the same rear cameras as the M10, an 8 MP front-facing shooter, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
Prices of Samsung M-series will be officially announced on the launch and that will give us a clear about the exact pricing of devices, but it is expected to be in this price bracket.
