Realme emerged as one of the successful smartphone brand in India and disrupted
In the past six months of its operations, the company has launched a total of fivedevices and claims to have sold more than 3 million models in the country. Now,the company is planning to expand its footsteps beyond India and into otherAsia Pacific markets. As part of that strategy, Realme will soon beginoperations in Pakistan. This will be the seventh major market for Realme, whichalready operates in India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand andPhilippines.
The news confirming its entry into Pakistan was announced by the official Facebook page of its division there. Realme, like Xiaomi, has followed an unique approach to be successful. Rather than launching new products, it is trying to build a brand following and create a loyal user base.
The company has launched five products so far – the Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2Pro, Realme C1 and Realme U1. All the five products have been unique in theirown respect and have paired some of Oppo’s technologies found on premiumdevices into the budget segment.
With Realme 1, the company became the brand to offer a smartphone that did not hinge on generic design in the sub-Rs 10,000 segments. Realme U1, the last launch from the company this year, was the first smartphone to use MediaTek Helio P70chipset. Realme has also launched
There is no clarity on when Realme will actually start selling its smartphones in Pakistan. The company has not confirmed which models it plans to sell there but the official confirmation shows that the company is here to expand and become a bigger threat to its rivals soon.
