After being in the headlines for quite sometime Xiaomi is finally launching its new device and successor of Redmi 6, the Redmi 7. As per the
Just to refresh Xiaomi Redmi 6 series has done great business in India and china. As per the post, which also says “new independent brand”, meaning Redmi is taking the Honor and Realme way and becoming a brand of its own, while still sharing most of the R&D facilities and manufacturing plants as the mother company.
It will be interesting to see if company take that decision of building another company. As of now, Xiaomi has a company named as “Black Shark” which manufacture the gaming phone and Poco which has launched their first smartphone Poco F1 with Snapdragon 845 chipset and as per the reports Successor of that Poco F2 is coming soon.
Coming back to the leaser posted by company (picture on the start of article), we can see the shadow of the “Redmi” sign says 4800, which is clearly a nod towards the 48 MP teaser from last month. The event is taking place in Beijing and will start at 14:00 local time. We expect to see at least one device called Xiaomi Redmi 7, but there might be more iterations, like Redmi 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi 7A and other typical moniker combos.
If the phone is indeed coming with a 48 MP sensor, there might be a possibility to see Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, a new iteration of the dual-cam Redmi Pro that arrived in the summer of 2016.
As we are speculating, the chances the device may feature 4800 mAh battery isnted of 48 MP camera. Only time will tell what configuration company will be offering in the Redmi 7 Series.
