Xiaomi is one of the biggest Smartphone suppliers in India and company Redmi Note series is one of the popular phones in Indian market. Now when Redmi Note 5 Pro is a huge success in India, it seems that company is gearing up for the next version of the series, Redmi Note 6 Pro.
Xiaomi’s next big Smartphone launch could be the Redmi Note 6 series, which could arrive sometime this year. As per reports, a mysterious Xiaomi Smartphone reportedly appeared on FCC bearing the model number M1806E7TG. It is speculated that the device could be Redmi Note 6 Pro or Redmi Note 6.
With the Redmi Note 6 series, Xiaomi is said to be preparing to enter the US market as well.
According to FCC listing, the handset will have dual-band Wi-Fi, in addition, to support for networks like LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, and GSM. The listing also suggests that the handset could run MIUI 9, which we feel might be a little bit surprising given the fact that Xiaomi is currently readying the MIUI 10 and we don’t see any reason why the Redmi Note 6 Pro should not run the MIUI 10 out of the box.
The leaked benchmark results indicate that Redmi Note 6 Pro will arrive in three different storage variants: 3GB RAM variant with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM variant with an option for either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
Additionally, it is said to be offered in five different colors: Gold, Blue, Pink, Black, and Red. It comes as a surprise that these benchmark listings do not indicate the existence of a 6GB RAM variant with 64GB storage similar to Redmi Note 5 Pro.
In terms of features, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is rumored to feature a 5.45-inch notched display and taller 19:9 aspect ratio. It is also expected to come with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, a standard feature on most mid-range smartphones these days. It will likely run MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
