The new Samsung Galaxy A-series smartphones that are set to debut in the first half of this year will come with model numbers SM-A105, SM-A202, SM-A205, SM-A260, SM-A305, SM-A405, SM-A505, SM-A705, and SM-A905, reports SamMobile. The company isn’t likely to bring these models to all its markets globally. It is said that the availability of the new Samsung Galaxy A-series family will be “largely concentrated” in Asian markets. We can safely expect their arrival in the markets such as China and India, where the company faces tough competition from Chinese players such as Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi.
The new report comes just days after Samsung’s Galaxy A60 was revealed to be launching as the Galaxy A8s Lite in some markets in April this year. The new phone could be priced at roughly Rs. 25,000 and released as an inferior model of the Galaxy A8s that was launched last December with an Infinity-O Display panel.
As reported earlier, Samsung is also planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy A50 soon, which is expected to feature three cameras. As per the reports, the device will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery and will sport a 24MP primary sensor on the back. The report doesn’t mention any details about the other camera sensors on the back, overall device is expected to come with three cameras setup like Galaxy A7.
It will be powered by the company’s own Exynos 9610 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. The device will run Google’s Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the company’s own One UI on top.
