Apple has launched the new iPhone worldwide and this year’s iPhone price makes it the most expensive iPhone to date. If you live in India you would have to shell out Rs 12,075 a month as zero-cost EMI for a period of one year to own the 512GB variant of iPhone XS Max that will come for Rs 144,900 in India.
Before we move ahead, to make you aware Apple’s newest line of iPhones the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max cost as much as $1,449 for the most expensive model, CNBC reported late on Tuesday.
Now Apple CEO Tim Cook has justified the price of new series iPhone, which company has launched last week.
“The phone has replaced your digital camera. You don’t have a separate one anymore. It’s replaced your video camera. It’s replaced your music player. It’s replaced all of these different devices,” Cook was quoted as saying to ABC’s “Good Morning America”.
“And so arguably the product is really important. And we’ve found that people want to have the most innovative product available and with that, it’s not cheap to do.”
Apple iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max will come to India on September 28, though the first global sales start September 14. Apple iPhone Xs starts at $999, while the iPhone Xs Max will be $1099. Three variants: 64, 256 and 512GB.
iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB capacity models in space grey, silver, and a new gold finish starting at Rs 99,900 and Rs 109,900, respectively, through Apple Authorised Resellers. Sale in India from September 28.
iPhone XR will come in 64GB/128GB/512GB storage variants and will start at $749. The iPhone XR will be available to pre-order starting October 19 and sale to begin on October 26.
Apple iPhone XR will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models in white, black, blue, yellow, coral and (PRODUCT)RED starting at Rs 76,900. It will come to India on October 19 with pre-orders opening on this date.
The iPhone XS and XS Max will be available to pre-order from September 14 and sale will begin from September 21.
