As the successor to the mid-range Vivo X21 which was launched in the march this year and now company has introduced the Vivo X23. Vivo, on its official site, has already listed this phone with a teaser and has also dropped some sure-shot specifications of the device
The smartphone has been listed on the company’s official website in China and its pricing and availability details are expected to be announced soon.
The key highlights of the Vivo X23 are its waterdrop notch, improved in-display fingerprint sensor, and AI cameras.
Vivo has now confirmed the design, which is very much similar to what we saw with the Oppo R17. This design is expected to form the footprint of upcoming OnePlus 6T as well.
Other than design, it is also clear that Vivo X23 features an in-display fingerprint, a technology that remains somewhat exclusive to Vivo’s mainstream devices.
The Chinese smartphone maker is currently accepting registrations for the smartphone and has not mentioned any price tag. The device might cost as much as RMB 3,199 (around Rs 32,100).
Specification of Vivo X23
The Vivo X23 may come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor with 8GB RAM. The images on the website shows the phone in two hues: Purple and Pink. Barring the notch, the Vivo X23 has the same design as the X21.
The Vivo X21 was launched with a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC and comes with 6GB RAM, coupled with 128GB of onboard storage.
In terms of optics, the Vivo X21 is equipped with a vertically stacked dual-rear camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, it features a 12MP sensor. The phone is backed by a 3,200mAh battery.
The Vivo X23 features the latest in-display fingerprint scanner. The other unlocking option could be an advanced 3D face recognition.
