Vivo has announced Vivo Y89 and while highlights of the smartphone include a 16-megapixel AI front camera, 6.26-inch FHD+ display with waterdrop design, dual rear cameras and more, the Vivo Y89 also comes with the Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 SoC under the hood. The Vivo Y89 is seen to sport a display notch, slight chin at the bottom of the display, a dual rear camera setup, a rear fingerprint scanner, and power and volume buttons on the right edge of the smartphone.
The VivoY89 sports a 6.26-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved glass, and an unspecified screen protection. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with Adreno 506 GPU. The device further includes 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB with microSD.
While the Vivo Y89 runs Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top, it supports Dual SIM connectivity (nano + nano) along with a dedicated microSD card slot.
