Vivo Y93 launched in India, after making it available for the chinses market in early November company has brought the device for the Indian market. The device features a waterdrop notch with HD+ Halo FullView display. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC chipset.

The Vivo Y93 gets a dual-SIM (nano) setup and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The smartphone also gets Vivo’s proprietary FunTouch OS 4.5 and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The MediaTek chipset Y93 is only found on the Indian variant. The Chinese variant of the Y93 and the newer Y93s run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 439 SoC running on eight cores. The Y93 gets 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard memory, as compared to the 64GB variant found on the Chinese counterpart.
The Vivo Y93 as mentioned above gets a vertical dual-camera setup on the back which is powered by a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture value and a 2MP secondary camera sensor with a f/2.4 aperture size. On the front, the selfie camera is an 8MP unit with a f/1.8 aperture size. The battery capacity is 4,030mAh.
The Vivo Y93 comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and FM radio. The Y93 also gets an ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The device will compete with the likes of Redmi Note 6 Pro, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Realme 2 Pro, etc. Currently the segment is ruled by the device like Redmi Note 6 Pro and Nokia 6.1 Plus.
