Xiaomi Mi Play

After lots of leaks and rumours finally, Xiaomi Mi Play smartphone was launched in December 2018. Xiaomi Mi Play is the first waterdrop notch phone from the company. The phone comes with a 5.84-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2280 pixels at a PPI of 432 pixels per inch.

If you see the overall strategy of Xiaomi, they focus mainly on the performance of the device rather than design of the device, but with Xiaomi Mi Play they have opted the completely different strategy. Company is focusing on the design of the phone more than the specifications. First talking about the design of the Mi Play, the phone includes a waterdrop notch on the front which equips the selfie camera while the back panel features a gradient finish which overall gives a premium touch to the phone.

The Xiaomi Mi Play is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi Play packs a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
