As reported earlier that Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro launch will happen soon in India. Chinese smartphone maker and electronics giant Xiaomi seems to be planning to launch its upcoming smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro in India in the coming weeks. According to new reports on the internet, it looks like the invite for the device has leaked out on the internet.
Taking a look at the leaked image, it looks like the company is planning Redmi Note 6 Pro launch on November 1 in New Delhi. This means that the company is planning to launch the device a couple of months before the expected launch as the Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched earlier this year.
The leaked press invite in question was initially posted by GizBot and it hints at a dual camera setup on the front of the device for selfies. This means that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will come with four cameras in total, with two cameras on the front and two cameras on the back. The invite also comes with the slogan “Flagship Camera killer” which hints at what the company will be focusing on with the device. As previously reported, it is likely that the device will launch in three colors.
Redmi Note 6 Pro Specifications
According to the report, the device is likely to pack a 6.18-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and that notch. The device will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot.
The chipset hasn’t changed from the Note 5 Pro. It features the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. There is also a 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage variant, but that variant was not launched in Thailand.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a dual camera set up at the back with a 12 MP and a 5 MP unit. Up front, the phone features a 20 MP and a 2 MP unit.
Running the device is Android Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9.6. A 4,000 mAh battery powers the phone, which is also the same as the Note 5 Pro.
